Its likely that girls see a move as different than a guy. If I see a guy that I think is cute when Im out walking, I'll chat with him and all that. Actually lots of guys think I'm flirting when I'm just being friendly.
There is a danger with women taken the reins. Deep down, men need to pursue women and "win" her. women want a strong man, if you take this mating step out, both lose.
