I don't hold back videos just because i want to make a living and force people to come see my shows. I hold them back b/c there is nothing that can replace or come close to the feeling one gets seeing a dancer live. I want to communicate as an artist and this is best achieved live. The other reason has to do with credit and artistic integrity. If i post the video I know i can include the necessary musical and video credits to honor the artists that make my work possible, that is important to me

I don't understand why people are voting negatively on "a little bit of peril'"s comment. We are in a time where every single thing is up on you tube...By being perfectionnist and not allowing every thing to be displayed in often bad quality (shot with a phone or bad camera etc) makes of Mira an incredible artist that i respect even more.

@NenyaStudio - because people have nothing better to do than click 'thumbs down' on something they aren't actually READING or understanding. Mira works her ass off every day to get to this level. why shouldn't she expect people to come and pay to see her live? obviously some of us its harder (like me, i'm in the UK, but she's thankfully been invited a few times now), but yeah, why they vote negatively on my comment, who knows. I was just repeating what Mira said, so they're voting her not me.

I was in the front row for this performance and it gave me goosebumps and made me cry. Mira is awesome and has the most incredible stage presence.

@scom86 - yeah but as with any artist, one only wants the best out there for people to see. I think that often (most of the time) dancers look best live.. even really good ones (it just so happens Mira's dances translate well to Video, but they don't even touch how good she is live. If its your living, then you don't want people to see all your latest work! They want you to come to the shows to see it...

Well She is right...that is true. But there must have been some good videos apart from the ones already existed in youtube...right???she is very good!

The reason for not many video's is because if people put up things they filmed on their camera phones and they don't represent her at her best - a really great artist, then she doesn't want that on youtube. So she removes any video's on youtube which she thinks doesn't show her in her best light and which show choreog's she's not finished performing. Its her livelihood - and if she's doing a choreog that people can just see on youtube, then they won't come to see her perform....
