  • @originalgymmonster But they're not actually being persecuted, and to discriminate isn't a good thing, so...

  • @Gadgetgirl1966 yeah man up but persecute means "to pursue with harassing or oppressive treatment" and discriminate only means "to make a distinction in favor of or against". Hardly the same is it.

  • What an interesting video. I din't realise christians were getting so much hassle in the UK today. I thought, what with having Christmas and Easter as national bank holidays, the head of state being the head of the church, all those bishops in the house of Lords, Thought for the Day on Radio 4, being the largest religion in the country, Songs of Praise on prime time sunday spots, hundreds if not thousands of schools across the country, they were actually doing quite well.

    My mistake.

  • This campaign appears to be very weak. Xtians yet again screaming persecution when they discriminate against other groups. If they can't man up and take a bit of criticism, then they really ought to be ashamed.

  • It's about time! Christianity is the cornerstone of Western civilization! : )

  • "Not Ashamed"

Perhaps you should be? Or embarrassed at the very least.

  • Very pleased that the Not Ashamed campaign is coming out AGAINST UNLABELLED HALAL - Christians and other non-Muslims should have the freedom to make an informed choice about whether or not to eat meat that has been religiously slaughtered according to Islamic law. We are recommending that halal food should always be labelled as such IN PLAIN ENGLISH, and that non-halal alternatives should always be available to consumers in the UK.
