Tim Krekel Turning Away

Tim Krekel's own ballad version of Shaky's hit also covered by Crystal Gayle. Tim wrote this song and here we have his own take on the track ,sung as a ballad and not the high tempo rockin' version we all know. It works perfectly as a ballad and is a refreshing new way to hear it. Shaky's version is still the best, but I prefer Tim's over Crystal's anyday. Give it a listen a see what you think...

This is a lovely version and nice to hear by Tim Krekel himself. However, without a doubt for me, Shaky did the best version. No question. ;o)

This is the way the man wrote the song and he performs it masterfully. The rest are just their interpetations of his feelings. And I'm sure they are just fine cause you ain't goin to get to far from the feeling if they are covering his words. Thanks for posting.

The song as a ballad like me very well, but Shaky is still the best. The version of Crystal Gayle I don't like so. Thanks for the video. 5 * from me. All the best, Pam
