http://www.screencastprofits.com/tools/adc - In this video review and tutorial I show how to use PowerPoint 2010 and Camtasia to create a couple of the excellent video effects done by Andy "The Video Boss" Jenkins in the AffiliateDotCom.com launch videos.

Here's a link to the PowerPOint Template:

  • lon, you rock, that was a killer video and resource!

Q: I upgraded to 2010, could you explain the actual recording process from inside powerpoint...or do you come in thru camtasia?

Because I don't see the add ins in PP 2010, could you point me in

    the right direction...

PP made a movie on its own, its so wierd...

Camtasia won't recognize my pp presentation,

it just load a blank one every time...

  • @blujam007 Hey Jeff...thanks! Actually, I don't have any problems with the output from PPT 2010 dropping into Camtasia. It works like a champ and I LOVE it!

And because of the way I use PowerPoint video in my Camtasia projects (I don't record with proper timing...I just get the footage and put it together with the narration in editing using a couple of key tricks...) it is going to be my preferred method for getting PowerPoint video (as opposed to recording it with Camtasia).

    A codec problem?

  • Very helpful video, exactly what i was looking for!!

  • Great video !

  • yes, I am running win7 64 bit, and camtasia only comes with a 32 bit driver, can you ask techsmith when they will release the 64 bit driver?

at least I figured out what was wrong

the workaround is to shoot it "old school" which works,

and here's another power point tip, it will record a movie

on its own with out camtasia,

you must be running an older operating system lon...

awesome new vid by the way

    jeff
