  • I think at the parts around 0:24 should have had a "fade in" sort of thing on the lead. Otherwise, great work here, and you should go check out 8bitDanooct1's VRC6 cover of this song.

  • @WhoWatchesVideos thanks! if it's VRC6 it probably sounds a million times better than this old fakebit song hehu

  • yeah so im not supposed to find things made by kommisar on youtube when im searching sand canyon videos

  • @LainofODI you would be searching sand canyons...............

  • 240p, we met again =D

    (240p = BEST QUALITY)

  • i love it!!

  • @MHMemeDoubleYourFun I would not be surprised. I actually prefer remaking music on GB over NES myself, especially due to the easier to control volume envelopes (for me anyways). The only reason I mentioned NES is because the bass line sounds more like the NES Triangle to me than the bass you can get from the third GB channel. I'm still learning this stuff though, so I may be wrong.

  • @Xeradeux Probably most 8-Bit / Chiptune remixes use either NES Capcom, NES Konami or home-brewed instruments. I have a feeling that Japan is kind of focused on GB more than NES, because it has stereo, which I heard one person on YTMND say, "The Only Way to Make Mega Man 2 Better (is) STEREO".

  • @Xeradeux this was done with ymck's magical8bit plugin, so this is completely fakebit. I should probably re-do this with LSDJ though.

  • @MHMemeDoubleYourFun NES sound waves of course. Judging by the lack of a VRC6 Sawtooth, I'd say maybe an MMC5 chip with 4 Square channels, Triangle, and Noise in use.

  • WOOH!

  • the nes gets sand in it's slot now i have to blow it out again...
