WHAT IS THE ATHEIST EXPERIENCE?

The Atheist Experience is a weekly cable access television show in Austin, Texas geared at a non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin.

The Atheist Community of Austin is organized as a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.

We define atheism as the lack of belief in gods. This definition also encompasses what most people call agnosticism.

I first would like to put forward that I have no interest in an aggressive argument with you sir. However, I must ask if you believe that there is anything that can exist outside of the human senses? I also wonder what your evidence is for God not existing. I would like specifics so that i may better understand your position, thank you for your time.

It's practically impossible to prove a negative, so there is no evidence that there couldn't be a god somewhere, but the point is that there is no evidence for the existence of any particular god.

What the evidence against God is depends on your definition of "God". Is God a Catholic, a Protest, a Muslim, or a Hindu? Does God hate fags? Does God have four arms? Is God omniscient? And how do you know all those things?

In science, a very important step is to make a hypotheis,which is always a prediction, therefore is a positive statement, the person who afirms is responsible for defining the variables on his prediciton as well to proof his hypothesis.None of that has been adequately done in religion.

No. That's the best definition YOU can give for a god. The point of TheAtheistExperience's message was that nobody has any means of determining the properties of any god because that god's existence must be demonstrated first.

@TheAtheistExperience The best definition you can give to God is that he's the uncreated. God does not resemble anything like his creation in fact the human mind cannot comprehend the nature of God as our knowledge is limited. Creation is just one of God's powers but we can't go outside the box to understand who or what God truly is.

Yeah, its funny ever time the Jehovah witness come to my door. I ask how they know what they believe is true ,and they always replay the bible says so,how ridiculous is that, anyways. I can't believe I use to believe this crazy religious stuff............. Religion poisons the mind OR at least it did my mind.........I am so glad to be free..

I don't think its smart to assume that we are the 'ultimate form of existence' also. Think how things go in the nature: virus, bacteria, animals (like us)... For a bacteria, your body is not a "being" but a "place". Wouldnt it be plausible if the Universe worked the same, but with even greater complexity? (because we are aware of bacteria existence :-) ... Observing the world, do you really think its possible that there is nothing greater than us?
