  • You mention its totally unrealistic. Its a DEMO!!! The idea is to show good, strong aikido and protect the uke, not to show realistic aikido which will result in injury.

Do your research and more importantly, think more before you make ignorant posts.

  • great demo... nice work guys...

  • Pathetic attacks. Just waste your life attacking him like that. In the end you will end up with injury, bad back , internal problems. Tell me, whats the friggin point?

  • o curse i kno who to speel du yu tink i stupi or wat

  • You all need to learn how to spell.

  • What are you on about. If you are going to create arguement in English, have your sentences make sense first.

I fail to see how you can identify that from 1:34. It is not viable footage to tell.

Like aikiyondan said, do your research before you make an ignorant post.

Aikidou will almost always look unrealistic because of the fact that uke must stay alive and respond before the pain affects his joints. If uke is too slow, he's gonna break a wrist from a shite of that level of expertise.

  • yeah duuh they do it unrealistic....

aikido is a martial arts that is based on using you body and your engergie he put the other guys there bones to the wrong way if he would do that realistic they would have break there bones..... than he need to take so many students with him ;)

  • BTW... "totally unrealistic"

was not saying the demo was bad...

nor defeating the purpose of the demo you pointed out..

"totally unrealsitc" was towards the people watching this. and to go for my point..

which has nothing to do with the demo.

so basically I used the demo of aikido to explain how aikido would work.

not to fight against the demo... O.o

also I explained further that the demo only showed specific key moves that are build up when not in a demo..

  • lmao. you have no idea how much I've done,

    and people I learn from.

I understand its a demo and I understand its not to hurt the person.

my goal was to point out he was a bad uke by standards of uke in aikido. He didn't do what he was suppose to do and instead did what a normal reaction would be.

"think before you make ignorant post"

when you posted that it just seemed like you were protective..

  • its not a bad uke but it points out the flaw of this system.. (and yes I like aikido.. and i belive all systems and arts have flaws or at least weak points)

    1:34

shows the uke going of balance do to the grab. in real life thats all that would of happened of balance. in this demo however the uke does a flip.. if done by a good uke the going down would be fluid and the guy would look like just by going down he flipped the guy.

    totally very unrealistic.
