Am I dreaming, or did the original version of this song have a fantastic arpeggiated guitar solo? I downloaded this from iTunes, and that version has the same blase solo as this one.
@kevyg74 Only two are mediorce in the realm of Meat Loaf, Bat out of hell 3 and Midnight at the lost and found, both I would deem a little over 50 percent around 60 or so, the rest are pure over 75 percent averaging 80 symbols of rock n roll desire rolled into something that will break down all past realizations of rock n roll.
Sorry but Steinmans BFG version isn't a patch on this - his voice is nowhere near as powerful as Meats and the guitar solo is awesome. The only way to really appreciate it is at full volume through headphones - mindblowing
Can't stand this version of the song...Jim Steinman's original on Bad for Good is unbelievably amazing and passionate, far superior. In comparison, this...it just feels rough, crude and forced. I would love to hear Meat sing the BFG version of this...sadly, it will never happen =(
this is a different version than the original on the album

your arguing over this song do you realise that meat was meant to do the whole bad for good album but lost his voice and couldnt sing for 2 years
jim had been paid to produce the album so he recorded it himself yeah i love the album by jim but meat has the power in his voice
at the end of the day they are brilliant when they work together
