The Arcade Fire say goodbye to N.Y.C. for a couple years with the last song of their encore at Randall's Island in front of 25,000 people (23,000 hipsters).

25 000 people???? Are you kidding???
Are they so well-known in North America??
Wow. I'm glad to live in Europe so I can still see them in small venues...
But how is that possible? I thought they made everyone go out of the venue to sing Kiss off... They didn't make 25 000 people go out, did they?

Excellent show!!!Took my daughters... We were right up against the barrier left side of the stage for the whole thing. Arcade Fire is the best.
