You have to change polarity when the driver is facing that way i guess, i always let the back of the speaker fire in the second chamber. Thanks for the vid. I will be building a small one with a 5.25'' active driver and a 6.5'' passive driver. Just to test the principle out. I hope it will work out. I will be using some bolts as weight. But i could also use some lead. Cut some strips in the right size and ad them to the speaker.

I've read that dampening material in bandpass boxes isn't that important. It can only take out some peaks in the bass but it will not change that much at all. Is that true or should i think of stuffing my closed box section full with dampening material :) I don't use a passive radiator. I wanted it to be small so is used a slot port to get no port noise. Works great for me.
You're right, dampening isnt important for bandpass boxes, but it can be useful though. If stuffed qiuet firmly, it lowers the speed of sound inside the stuffed chamber, this results in a virtual enlargement of that cab. In other words: if filled with stuffin, the driver kinda sees a bigger box. This can help to tune it lower.
