BF3 Jet Tutorial - Dodging Stingers

This takes a bit of awareness because you need to know where the stinger is coming from, but generally that is easy and after you get used to it it should be second nature. Knowing how to do this properly will help you a lot if you like flying where you shouldn't fly.

Also works on Javelins and other heatseekers of course. Be warned: this looks highly professional and it has gotten me banned before (rofl)

Give suggestions on tutorial videos and I'll do it if I can. If nothing comes up, my next idea is an aiming video

you can dodge javelins with this method, you just need to identify whether or not a javelin is on you (I turn with rudder and freelook back after SOFLAM tone ends). My buddy Gatz told me that you can also dodge one by flying at 400+ speed, but I haven't tested it out

@kentot2position in a jet if you know a javelin is coming hold afterburners and fly straight until they explode behind you.

@kentot2position its too hard to dodge javelins because the jet doesnt alert you against javelin missiles... but if you hear a long lock on and no rocket launches its most likely a SOFLAM lock so fly away and avoid that particular air space. I could be wrong.
