More flight footage of the Jeff Imel designed semi-scale
Horten Ho 229 model, also showing some of the changes made from the original plans, to improve flying characteristics and controllability. Using Futaba 7C radio which has the aileron differential mixing in elevon mode. This flight had about 50% differential. Thanks to Jon Schwalm for taking the video. Very Nice!

  • Great success! Very nice!!! High Five!!!!!

  • Well done! Were there any reports of UFOs after one of your flights. The noise and appearance might panic some people :)

You do very well with a basically unstable plane. I wonder how the real Horton pilots managed without a modern computer-controlled Stability Augmentation System?

Again well done and great flying, too!

  • Sie Fliegt Wirklich.
