  • Another great video!

  • Finally..

Finally someone who talks about peak oil then focus on the real problem.. CAR DEPENDENCY.. Finally.

Im sick to death of these people saying peak oil is nearly here, I know i'll drive a hybrid.. Give me a break.. Car dependency is the problem. Moving away from it is a big part of the solution. Thank god i'm not the only person who can see the obvious..

  • driving 55 makes others very happy as they will use the bit that you save. Doing that is only putting off the evil hour.

  • Is manual labour too much effort for maintaining daily life?

Can't we just take a step back?

  • I am considered a "Gloom & Doomer" and feel ostracized for expressing opinions "based on incontrovertible facts" on this subject. I tell people to drive 55 and consolidate their trips to save gas. In Texas gas is currently $3.09 at Sam's and $3.15 elsewhere. I realize this is attune to putting a band-aid on a shotgun wound, but driving 55 rather than 70 saves 17%. 388M gallons US daily =66M gallons daily saved. We need to conserve to bridge our reserves. It is IMPERATIVE!

  • Any trend that can't continue, won't.

That includes use of fossil fuels.

    Think "sustainability".
