If our founding fathers intended this country to be a christian one, they would not have included freedom of religion in the FIRST Amendment. This is a country for all cultures and beliefs.

They made it with Christian Ideals, but they let everyone have their own religion. But now they have taken God out of almost everything this country has. Most of our major problems started after they stopped things like prayer in school. The cool thing about it, you didn't have to pray. They didn't intend to make it a Christian nation, just a nation that followed God internally for those who wanted to and for everyone else to follow their own religion. Message me if you are confused.

As I have just read on a site, and from studying history myself, I have found that the idea of Separation of Church and State, which most people give for reasoning here, is not a law in fact, just an idea. Also, it seems that this day and age has said instead of "Freedom of Religion" it is now "Freedom from Religion." God Bless.

NO what this man is saying is after they took God out of schools kids got bad witch is true sooooo true If it was up to me I would have the 10 comandments all over the schools because all the drugs guns and sex in all these schools is do to the goverment not allowing God to be presant. if everyone would stand together then the world wouldnt be like it is now the only way for it to go back to good is for God to be in our country world and all states aman

Students are free to pray anytime on their own before, between, and after class. They just can't take time out during class to have a prayer session that students who may or may not be of their religion would have to sut thru, if not participate in, or have the teacher lead such a session. Think about it- I bet you wouldn't appreciate a Muslim teacher trying to lead Christian kids in Islamic prayer.

So much of what he says is wrong though. the first dictionary was 150 years old when Noah Webster was born and he was hardly a founding father. I don't give carman any credit for speaking the truth.

Being religious is not going to solve this nation's problems or make anybody more moral. Whatever happened to being peaceful simply for the sake of peace? I know plenty of atheists/satanists/etc that would never dream of setting fire to abortion clinics and they, and I, live fine without a god.
