We need more transparency, not less, when it comes to the US government. Our government wants to operate in secrecy, classifying everything as top secret in order to keep the American people ignorant. In fact, they would love to operate as a shadow government with no accountability at all. The problem is that our government is not responsible enough to operate in secrecy.

Without more transparency, we've seen the results: a tendency to lean toward deceit, corruption, and actions that many times run counter to securing our national interests. We need a civilian review board to run shotgun over our government and to keep them honest.

I'm starting to think that the Republic is failing us. If you feel the same, then I ask you, "Citizen, what are you prepared to do?"

  • Wait the US has been known for always telling the truth? Look back in history full of lies, Ex: Cuban Air Missal Crisis , President faked sick to stop campaigning and didnt tell any1 about it. Lots of truth there.

  • @samwlb11 You have to watch a little bit more of the video. Then you'll see I was being sarcastic as hell. The official story is always a lie.

  • Thanks for posting this. One correction: it was the PHS, the Public Health Service that carried out the Tuskegee Experiment, not the NIH. I hope you know you are now on the Homeland Security Watchlist. It's not about truth in the age of Obamatricks.

  • @Hestia40 Thanks. I meant to say PHS. The NIH is still in existence. Trivia: The former head of the NIH is now the head of the Human Genome Project. He said that the increase in autism in the US cannot be explained by Genetics. He further stated that it has to be due to environmental causes.
