James Kendrick of jkOnTheRun has a cool new Blackberry Storm to show off and he does so in this video. You'll see an overview of the coolest Blackberry ever and yes, James shows us how to copy and paste on the touchscreen. :)
Also there's a 30 day trial period for this phone so you can try it out and see if you like it. It does take some getting used to but once you get the hang of it, I think you'll like it. It took me about 3 days to get used to the typing. I hope this helps.
I'm not sure when they're going to put out the next update. Supposedly there's not alot of difference between the .75 and .85. The speed is really good. Much better than the glitchy original .65. As for the app store, I'm not sure how it's going to work. I'm new to Blackberrys too. I'm assuming Verizon will send people a text of some kind to let them know about it. There are already some apps you can get for this phone that are fun and cool on websites.
when are they gonna put out the .85 OS? and how is the speed of the .75 OS? im really considering gettin this phone.. so i was just curious, i would appreciate any input you have on this matter
Yes. It should be running on the .75 OS. There are higher ones but they are not official versions. There is supposed to be an apps store coming this month or next so there might be another update. I believe Verizon will send you a message telling you when the next update is and can be done over the air. If you get it, you may have it freeze once or twice during the 1st week or 2. A battery pull is all that's needed to reboot it. It takes time to get used to this phone so be patient.
hey im thinking about getting one, will this one be up to date with all the updates? And one more; how will i know if more updates are available? Thanks for the answers
Gawd I love my Storm! I've had it for 3 weeks now and the more I use it, the more I like it. The click screen is the best part but the whole functionality of the phone is phenomenal. I've noticed most bad reviews of the Storm are because the review is old. When it first came out, it was running on an old OS. The new updates have made it near perfect now. Nice to have a phone where I actually use most of the features on it. Plus it's just a sexy looking device!
omg, I fucking want this phone soo bad! everyone likes theirs right? for a daily use?
