@cariboubill there are lots of tunings to banjo just like guitar, its finding the most usefull one that can be applied to the music, i play a lot of frailing banjo so i often tune gCGce

Interesting. I took some banjo lessons and this is very similar to the way I learned it. I wonder if it could be played with the high string tuned to 'E' rather than 'D'?

Really?? the way berean315 plays it on the baritone it does not seem to be that dificult but I have not be playin as long as you so I trust what you say. I dont suppose there is any way you could get me the tabs?

Appreciate the kind comment. It's a Baritone ukulele tuned to DGBD. The same as the bottom four strings on a banjo.

It's basically playing the banjo, but without the top high g string. Check out the series I did on "Ukulele, Banjo & Guitar"
