When you say that we "will not find any quality labor in (Pottstown)" that's a blanket generalization that we believe to be hateful toward our mission and the community we have chosen to call home. Didn't your Mom teach you, if you can't say anything nice to just enjoy a beer and chill out?

First you need to understand the definition and spirit of the term, "revitalization." No one has said we're moving into Shangri-La but that's what makes the story compelling. Haters gonna hate…

I live here, and I like the town. It has come almost full circle with the opening of several restaurants and shopping centers and shoppes. I love the street fairs in the summer...and although I have a gluten allergy and most likely won't be able to drink your beer (unless you make a gluten free version) I am really looking forward to you coming here.

My father owned a business in Pottstown for 40 years. It's good to see a bit of good news about the place, though I wish the brewery could be closer.

What she taught me champ, is to be accurate and realistic (and I don't care if you think it is hateful, if you want to call it that, fine)- we'll see if your microbrew keeps growing at its new location ( conveniently just outside of Pottstown) or if it continues to be, well ; "micro" It would hardly be surprising if one of Pottstown's many "indigenous artists" were to decorate your new brewery with grafiti. If they do, think of it as a "welcome to Pottstown" gift.

Also, as I said Circle of Progress is only marginally "in Pottstown". So close to West Pottsgrove it might as well be there. As for revitalization of Pottstown; the addition of a new carousel, a couple of new town homes (row homes) on the former Water St. ("Industrial Highway") and a new microbrewery 4 miles outside the town do not "revitalization" make. Sly Fox should have chosen a town with name recognition instead.Perhaps you get my point now.

 - Gotta laugh at that knee-jerk reaction to any criticism of anything whatever (you name it: criticism of a political candidate, relgious zealots, the war in Iraq, whatever), the usual response is "YOU ARE A HATER". Nonsense-where did I say I hate the beer or Pottstown? I just avoid the town. . My point? Why locate a good business there? You will not find any quality labor in that town.
