@Hakau72. What would make that country different? It would not make any difference. America is just the same as any other country that could've invaded Hawaii. BTW, Hawaiian is not an ethnicity. It is a nationality. It is not based on blood quantum or ancestry. America made that up! It is based upon loyality to the nation. Like Americans, for example. American is a nationality. You can be any ancestry and still be considered an American. That is if you live there. Same thing with Hawaiian.

No point in having tiny dumb events like this with only about 10 supporters...... Hawaiians will never get their land back no matter how much they try......if the u.s. Hadn't taken over Hawaii some other country would have because of it's location......also there are barely/if any full blooded Hawaiians left, so why would they give the land back to a bunch of quarter Hawaiians......just need to face he truth already Hawaiians lost their land for a reason........

Too funny, I'm an outsider, "you ante frome around here is ya?" "we don't cotton to strangers" Ok Jeb.
Are you saying you don't want Hawaii out of the US? If not, then what do you want? I also said I DO want Hawaii out of the US. I don't live in Hawaii, nor do I have any desire to.

And where I live on the mainland no ethnic group is causing me grief. It cracks me up that you hillbillies think of the mainland like it's some sort of tiny racist island like yourself. You seem to have this strange belief that is 1955 Alabama everywhere on the mainland.

@SkipHawaii Your YT profile says it all what I suspected. Just an outsider who remain to stick out like a sore thumb rather than get along w/ the locals. Unfortunately people like yourself blame kanaka when you know very well there's a lot of Japanese, Filipino, Samoan, Korean & Chinese people causing people like yourself grief. Yet you trolling other ethnic sites/channels & the fact that you can't even answer a simple question let alone comprehend it says a lot about your mentality.
-
@SkipHawaii Skip, now you're acting like a spoiled brat. You know very well I'm talking about 1887, NOT today. Grow up.
-
We just had an election, who wasn't allowed to vote?
I know, I know, you want a do over with the revolution and the monarchy put back in power, better yet, bring back the Ali'i.
Like I said, I agree with you. Hawaii deserves to be out of the USA.
-
@SkipHawaii So you're only justifying the overthrow as well as the 1887 Constitution as the ONLY way to have an elite group of Haoles who had an investment in the kingdom's economy (ie sugar tariffs by the USA) DISALLOWING kanakas & Chinese who made up a HUGE percentage of the population to vote in order to keep $ in their pockets. Yet you flash back to the spending of the kingdom. He was the King, so what, it wasn't stated that he couldn't spend, yet the Legislature ALLOWED it.
-
@SkipHawaii I mentioned the 1887 Constitution. Do you even know what changes were made in that constitution never mind the means of how it was created, which was unconstitutional, but I'll keep it simple since it's obvious you're not familiar w/ it. Basically it made changes so that the ELITE HAOLEs could rule & profit while NOT ALLOWING "Chinese" as well as Kanaka (unless they were rich) to vote. W/ the Const Monarchy, those 2 I mentioned WERE allowed to vote. That is the issue!
-
@SkipHawaii as far as I know, no. That is considered a REVOLUTION in our language. This isn't about republics being flawed, Skip you're avoiding my question & trying to distract the issue here. We're not talking Republic vs. CONSTITUTIONAL Monarchy, but rather a so called DEMOcracy (hint...root word fr Greek) in which the illegal ROH was actually an OLIGarchy. You claim that a republic gives MORE freedom to the common man, but compared to what exactly?
Wavefool is racist. Why are so many of you complaining about it. He's beneath us. Sad he never evovled from being a caveboy. He's just a bitter hauole punk who got pushed around. Just look at the things he says. Bitter bitter bitter. Stop crying little boy. Go get educated. Oh and before you say anything else..... Bitter

@TheBlueRose7 I don't understand what you mean by the lost children of the past. You're not referring to these people as wanting the "old ways" are you, b/c we already know for a fact that isn't what they're about. And your username sounds so familiar but I noticed you replied a year ago so maybe I already replied. Anyway, a group doesn't have to be recognized by any state or county, that's not how groups are considered "valid" but I think you already knew that.
