@mercedesgo1 sorry i never used mine on the fire but from what i know or have been told you wil never get the soot all off....

i know a few ppl that use them over the fire and wipe in dish soap befor they put it on so the soot wipes off....hope this helps

Thanks. I'm just putting together my light kits so good to see what people do.I'm trying to figure on a pack right now,,down to a ULA or SMD,,not sure what tho. Use a WBBB,,OES deluxe,,yeti3,,and just ordered a JRB HR TQ. Will only be doing 1-3 days this year and trying to keep the weight low. Thanks for the vid
