@egidd But can 5D mkII shoot Silent Mode, without the camera being in Live View?
stefanlangstrup 1 week ago
In canon 5d, "silent mode" doesn't actually delays shot.
It takes photo when you press and than it delayed only shutter curtain, mode one releases curtain after some time, mode 2 releases on button-release.
How to check when it really does take picture: turn camera around and look into lens and see when it closes aperture blades.

not to mention, if im not mistaken hes using about a 16,000.00 camera about 30 or 40 megapixels if correct.

I think it makes little difference on really high speed outdoor sunny day stuff, but I tend to leave it on, it's only a problem if timing is critical, street photography, sports or other moving subjects in that case it gives your DSLR the shutter response of a cheap point and shoot!

5:25 Nikon also has a mirror up shutter delay mode, in the D200 its menu d5 "Exp. Delay Mode", it adds a delay to all shutter modes "M S and C"
