Wow. Those are all freakin awesome! I saw some aquarium silicone at my local pet store, would that work, do you think? If not, I might go get some of the stuff you mentioned above :)

Respond to this video... as long as it is not a mildew inhibiting type of silicone, you should be okay. I use 100% RVT clear silicone available at any hardware store.

what did you covered it with, so that it wouldn't melt or something?

@ciukcia989 That's a new one! Slate and silicone are both insoluble materials and therefore will stay intact indefinitely without any protective coating.

Wow thank for your super say reply. Yeah I'm going to check out my local flowing/ landscaping place. How much was the slate?

@90kateKate I'm sorry I don't remember. Maybe something like $15 bucks per bag. Definitely less than $20.
Keep in mind though that out of all the pieces in those bags, I personally found about 9 out of 10 to be unusable. So to build something this size will pretty much deplete one bag of all useful pieces.
