Spin after instuctor grabs my wheel

This video is from the Yellow group. So I am not a rookie. This was the first event at this track and everyone had an instructor to show us the layout. This in the first 10 laps on this track and I just forgot what was coming and turned in late. I am not saying that the instuctor "caused the spin". My car was out of shape, because I turned in late at turn 5 (now renamed turn 4)at eagle's Canyon Raceway. But Its not the first time that I have lost grip for one reason or another and have recovered from situations far worse. So I am saying that he made it worse. The instructor just seems to have panicked and made an error. Instructors are only human.

In "Porsche CaymanS chasing 993 on MSR 3.1". I also go too deep and try to get back to the apex, instead of just driving.

The funniest part is I was so focused on trying to save it, I never noticed his hands on the wheel, until I watched the video. But, when I said to him, "I don't understand that, I should have been able to save that one." He replied, "Lets talk about it later." When I watched the video, I understood why he didn't want to discuss it.

ANY instructor knows you can NEVER/EVER tough a steering wheel if you are not driving! I don't care what or who the instructor is. It does prove though, that the human instinct is a strong thing :) Nice vid

Yeah dude you were way loose before he touched the wheel, but his hands just got in the way. You probably would have saved it if he wasn't messing around.

and THAT is why instructors stay the hell out of my car. most of them at least...gawd, that was awful. What if you went into a tire wall?

Looks like he was trying to counter-steer for you, but overdid it, since you were already turning into the skid. Classic "fish-tail" after the over correction. Glad he didn't make you wreck! :)

Lets be real here.  You were loose before the instructor touched the wheel. Cool vid tho!

It's easy to be a Monday morning quarterback, but I agree the instructor made this worse. Unless there's a wall or other fixed object, I never touch the student's controls. It looks like you could have saved this one with the throttle until he grabbed the wheel.
