...Actually I just remembered it's not after the magic attack animation itself ends, but after the appearing mana spirit casting animation ends. Once the attack animation itself started, controls froze up, but timed right you could chain endlessly. I still can remember the short cute spirit animations so clearly. One always gave me trouble to time right... think it was the moonlight one.

I felt like a fucking king for having mastered this back then :D
