@bldsvr As someone who had no interest in metalcore (if that is the correct name for the genre), I applaud your selection anyhow. Starting the segment in mid-corpse-slam with that track ripping through so unexpectedly is classic stuff....comparable to Tarantino's abrupt cutaway from Reservoir Dogs's first scene into the backset of the getaway car with a bloody, screaming Tim Roth.

@wh0rg I think it has to do with lots of people sharing houses and gardens, local food culture, and Portland having more backyards than many major cities. It's a bit of a fad, but a defensible one, at least.

birds are the last surviving members of the once, and still, great family that popular culture and lay people know as dinosaurs. everything a "standard" dinosaur has a bird also has, although uses have changed and some things have faded.

much like whales are still mammals.

this video was the fate of most mammals until the last 60 million years. although today's dinos are smaller, they now fly and still like mammal meat.

My production red hen Moochie loves to eat mice and small birds! Just today a small finch bird thing got caught in the brooder cage. I grabbed it out and took it to Moochie and she pecked th skin of its head right off! And it was still breathing! Finally Moochie pecked its brain cavity out and it died. Then the other chickens had a go at the body. All was left was a wing and the roo Melvin happily ate it.

@molinobeer such as hantavirus, plague, toxoplasmosis and I think rabies may not affect avians as it does mammals. Summarily, I would not eat that particular fouled fowl. If the cats have become too lazy to catch mice, long live DinoCluck!
