It is the coldes water I have bathed in ever.

It must have been close to freezing point, because somewhere on the lake there were a layer of ice on the water.

Heh, it actually hurt a lot to just stay a short while in the water. Boe, ToMpy and I had to stay under the water surface in a few shots, it became so bad that we all lost the feelings in our feet.
