@iwanttofight69 Belts don't like you. They told me so. They're rude like that.

@Submissions101 We mess with him about it every time we see him. It's fun to joke with him about it.

Excellent video. Thanks...

This is not really a reply to your post just a comment. I have trained Jiu Jitsu since 1994 mostly with the Machado brothers and others of Graice Barra lineage and this is one of the best descriptions of the difference between upper and lower belts as well as the theory behind Jiu Jitsu moves and movements I have heard to date. Thanks for posting the vid.

@scarred10 Oh Yes, sure... As I told you, everybody would kill them... Today it is easty to speak, However, 17 years ago, nobody was there to let the ass on the line, but they were. These guys are great, and if MMA is the sport it is today, that is for sure, due to Royce, Rickson and Gracie Family, who kept the old school of judo/jujutso "ne waza" safe during many decades. But anyway, today everybody is expert in MMA (Mixed Martial athleticism) ...

@leocmen firstly , i have trained with both henry akins and shane rice in ricksons back around 2005,rickson himself was never there for years.Shamrock was never in his wildest dreams a good wrestler ,he was a fairly good sub grappler at the time and royce could do nothing with him in the rematch.Severn was clueless about subs but a good wrestler and also couldnt strike on the ground, both would have killed royce with a bit more experience.
The professor wears his gi right over left because of simple habit over 40 years of training. Nothing more. He just started doing it when he started and no one corrected him.

@tongPoh he did first yes but see my comment above on what 'invisible jiu jitsu" is ;-)

You think he meant Infinite Jiu Jitsu?
RomeroR707 1 year ago
@RomeroR707 He meant 'invisible' as in 'unseen'. Rickson talks about jiu jitsu and the small things (feeling) that make up the art. He calls it "Invisible Jiu Jitsu".
