  • im not exactly sure when my pecs are getting a work cause i dont feel nothing

  • In my opinion sore muscles (not extreme pain but just muscle soreness) means that you have exercised effectively, it is very likely that if you keep doing 30 that you will no longer become sore which is a sign for you to start doing more.

  • do sets of 5x5 for strength!

  • ur muscles r sore..means they be repairing.. give them rest one or 2 days to repair....eat protein every 3 to 4 hrs to help them...might get some mass too!

  • best to do your sets of pushups right in a row with only 30 seconds of rest in between.. after a few sets, you'll barely be able to do 10 reps - meaning youre working out just as intensely as if you were benching. After getting my reps under 10, I'll do the same thing with situps... After a few minutes, you should be able to do the same thing with the pushups again. Just keep going until your reps are under 10.

that said, it still takes a long time to bulk doing just body weight exercises... =(

  • nope. don't let up at all. just keep on goin' with it and slowly increase your reps. every day just do a LIIIITTLEEE bit more and you'll have those mega awesome rock solid pecs in NO TIME =]

  • make sure to not just do push ups incorporate back exercise as well such as pull ups while push ups are great you will grow uneven and can lead to shoulder damage

  • do 3 sets a day and the reps depends on how many you can do really

start out with 15 a day and then work your way up to 20, 25 and as hig has you can go

  • i would say a 100 or two, if really want a work out, ( and this is coming from a 15 year old) do the number method,do 25 pushups then 24,23,22, and all down and do the same thing with the situps I do it all the time it's GREAT

  • pushups on their own aren't worth it. you need to complement them with weights.
