well, that is nice and all, but there is no point in re-inventing the wheel.
but it is time consuming and also not economical.
India should do what China did.
China imported high speed train technology from Japanese, German etc,
learned and reverse engineered them,
and now claims they developed their own high speed train.
very smart indeed.

@simhopp Then let it be that Company. Or better yet. let us innovate our own Trains. Designed for India, by India. We are not America nor Europe, We are India. I think India ought to become more Indian. Our Governance should not be based upon Latin - instead, Sanskrit. We should encourage our Languages to be more widely spoken in India and throughout the Worlde as well.

I ment relying on Bombardier for high speed train would be unwise.
BEML has ties with Hyundai Rotem, and Rotem manufactures 300km/h high speed train routinely.
so BEML may be the company to come up with first Indian high speed train.

@simhopp Who cares. India can beat Canada; and if not now, then very soon. We must be not with the Worlde but ahead thereof, my friend.

Bombarider is Canadian company, Canada don't even have a high speed rail.

When will the Bombardier commence to build High Speed Trains in India? Is not it about time that India had her own High Speed Rail?
