Karen is truly, in my mind, the best voice music has ever seen, and probably ever will. Combining the commercial lyrics and beats with Karen's unique, and unforgetable voice, it's such a shame because they could have easily been the most succesful musical act of all time, but unfortunatley Karen's horrible death stopped that. But atleast we will always have the hundreds of songs they've recorded and truly hear perfection with her voice. She is greatly missed.

One of my all time favorite Carpenters - Lots of Burt Bacharach style changes - great up beat vocals. Her voice was so sweet and you know she was beating the skins.

Karen had one of the best voices of all times. I would put her in the #1 spot. Minnie Riperton would come a close 2nd. Both beautifully talented ladies and sorely missed.
