  • The Bible also says that rebellious children should be put to death (stoned). If we going to go by everything the Bible says, then it's a lot of us that need to get to murdering our own children. The Bible says that slaves should obey their masters, therefore blacks rebelled against God( The Bible) during the Civil rights movements. The Bible says you shouldn't eat pork(swine). Let's be honest, most of us love pork chops. There is so much more I could say argue.

  • @DarkPrince1785 If you feel strongly about that, go ahead. See my warning below. I dont own slaves. Hope you dont either. Im not jewish so I can eat all the pork I want. Next?

  • I would like to here anyone here exegete the text found in 1 Corinthians 6:9 and also 1 Timothy 1:9-10

  • @smurfboywv if you have a disobedient child and want to stone him/her based on what you think the bible says, go right ahead. Please understand that you will be arrested, tried and most likely given the death penalty by a non-religious court.

  • @gcmwatch Deuteronomy 21 19 then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city, to the gate of his city. 20 And they shall say to the elders of his city, ‘This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious; he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard.’ 21 Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death with stones; so you shall put away the evil from among you, and all Israel shall hear and fear.

  • @gcmwatch The bible does say disobedient children should be stoned, just as it says working on the sabbath is a commitment to be put to death.

  • As for stoneing, if you speak about the bible, you should read the whole thing. Jesus took the stone from our hands. Vengence is his alone. Jesus said "i did not come to abolish my fathers law but to fullfill it". God warned us this day would come. Remember most churches turn from him. Thank God for the pasters who still speak the TRUTH.

  • @DarkPrince1785 God addresses behavior. Regardless of the name attached to it, if the behavior falls within the context of his condemnation of it, then it remains sin. Thus, your assertion that the word homosexual doesnt appear in the KJV is moot. The bible is literal, allegorical, prophetic, historical with slices of human experience interwoven throughout. When you say that we should live by all of it, your words are right, but your motive for saying it is wrong.

  • @gcmwatch Please say more. It is indeed true, if we should live by the Bible, then we should live by everything it says. I'm not saying what the Bible says is wrong. I'm just referring to the context that Pastor DL used. Since you felt the need to reply to my statement I would like to encourage you to get a King James Version Bible and find the word homosexual or homosexuality in the New Testament.
