@cveitch That's a very Brezhnev thing to say - that anyone who disagrees with something only does so because of an unbalanced mind. I'd say being afraid of what "change" might mean is fairly sensible given the history of the 20th century.

Repeated a few times by Mr. Phoenix gesture with his right hand at the end of the film is in my country well known for the offensive. Overall this is a fairly strong form of showing disrespect to the man, in whose direction the gesture is performed.
