Boba Fett's voice in The Empire Strikes Back was originally provided by Jason Wingreen. For the DVD 'Special Edition' release, all of his lines were shittily re-recorded by Prequel Jango Fett actor Temuera Morrison.

@zirro93 its reasonable. every person's vocal cords are different, and you'd think, especially after being raised by Jango, and cloned off him, that he'd have similar voice. he also had a voice like jango's when he was little

You're all stupid who think that Boba has to sound exactly like Jango!
Delta squad are as close to Jango as you can get (after Boba) and Delta squad does NOT sound the same!!!

I'm yet to understand why Lucas changed the original voice with Tamuera's... I mean it's like in the near future when he decide to re-re-release the whole saga, he changes EJJ voice for Hayden's I mean if that's his logic... The ORIGINAL one, has a "communicator" filter effect so that's the perfect excuse to make it sounds "different" than Jango's... but bleh. I guess he can do what he pleases after all.

Honestly neither voice is that great. it really doesn't matter to me. Now if they were to replace Vader's voice or lip sync over The Emperor, holy shit I'd have a heart attack

Just the way he says "Put Cap'n Solo in the CARgo hold!" just sounds so menacing. And yes I made cargo caps because he emphasis CAR when hes saying cargo. So yeah Lucas, WHY?!

Boba's old voice was so much better. I always picture in my head now that the New Zealand/Australian accent goes away when his helmet is on. Clone or no Clone.
