I have to agree with Danica McKellar with everything that she said with this clip. As a former math teacher, I had to combat with the negative attention that math has today plus other things involving education. If you think about it, to give math a better reputation, provide some real-life examples to interest more people just to have them think more.
Growing up, I only had one great Math Teacher. The rest were Bullies. Not that it matters but many of them came from foreign countries and thought that because they were taught a certain way, their students should be taught like that. I remember a friend of mine crying like a baby because she didn't understand how to do the Math Test she was given but the Teacher was a Grade A Beyotch. If she did now what she did then, she would have been fired.
