because unfortunately, as the case of the recent tennessee church killer indicates, there are tons of stupid people in this country. i can go on with examples, like the 2004 elections and the continued existence of fox "news".

i agree with cenk here. i mean, is the party just waiting for obama or something? sure, things will definitely get done when january comes, but why don't they start right now? take the lame duck off the table and get a real cock by thanksgiving.

No, moron, don't skew the facts. Congress as a whole has an 11% approval rating. Aren't there Republican members of Congress? And Clinton never WANTED the GOP to shut down the government. He let it be known that if they shut down the government by not negotiating with him, THEY would be lamed, not him. And guess what? It worked. CLINTON got credit for the Republican initiatives, not Gingrich. That is why he was easily re-elected in 1996.

Here is the dumb reality with this interview. and why this show is so lame. Bill Clintion wanted the GOP to shut down the government..plus when the polls started to go against Clinton is when he worked with GOP congress..that's for the fist lack of a clue..and second..the president has 100 percent more of the country giving him a positive review than the Dem controled congress!!!! DAHHH young turks... = Dumb Ass and Clueless. Pres 24% approval Dem Controll Congress 11% Favorable.

Great interview. You are absolutely right about oil subsidies with record profits, gas at 3-something a gallon and oil at 90 bucks. The state of veterans' affairs is deplorable. If I were a house or Senate Democrat, I'd filibuster until that 14 billion went to veterans and not the right-wing, Bush-crony, phat katz in Texas.
