White hair and wrinkles are no barrier to feelings and poetry and music appreciation.

Good choices, Miranda, but if I may, let me suggest that you work toward reading through one line straight to the next without allowing a line break (all on its own) to govern your inflection. Let the rhythm arise from the syntax, not from the form.
