I would have never thought of #1. Brilliant! The men looked in rather good spirits assuming one of them just ate a razor blade minutes before that take.

How did he do it ? A few possible ways:
1. He did it more than once, and kept the film of the successful one. Rather than going through all possible combinations, he subtly steered two people into their seats.
2. It could have been cards under the seat, or something under the plate, or whatever matched the choices they made.
3. He had two chances to 'steer' people. Once with the chocolates, then the cards.

Did anyone else notice how totally flustered Derren was making this? He always sounds smooth doing one of his tricks for the camera, but not this time. At times he was nearly incoherent.

Not beliving in destiny is naive. There is no real random. Everything must have a cause. The atoms do not do not chose where they go, they just react to other forces and etc. We are made out of atoms. Our brain is but a very large and complex computing system. Our reaction is writen in there before the stimuli happens. There is no such a thing as free will. Now you cannot forget what I wrote. This is now a cause for how you will react later... and you cant help it.
