This actually wasn't very good. The one guy at the end has potential, but really, these folks are rather high-school-musical level. Compared to the US show, this really bites. Where are the good singers hiding?

To be fair the group numbers were more about entertainment value, that was my enjoyment of it at least. Canada has changed up the format over the seasons just as the US has. This was from 2004.

@Alli3phant Kalan put out a couple albums, then his mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. So he took time out to be with her. He is working on a new album.

@italgino21 timeline: idol ended in september, the old hedley were still together for a few months after that doing shows, the old forum remained open and active. Hedley did not 'debut' till the end of january 05. youtube.com/watch?v=uH1Z_anFHZ­E this is trip with the old band, don't know the exact date but it was after idol.

no actually he did drop out and didnt want a solo deal.. it was a bet to make it to top 10 and on his blog he asked people to not vote for him anymore...

also he had hedley back home with his personal friends and he told ppl to not vote for him and when he went back.. his friends had moved on so the contract for his record deal for hedley assisted him on finding new members.. he wouldnt of been able to get members without a record company.. proves he had it before he left idol..
