Yeah!! Poirot must have been David Suchet's next big project after this movie rolled out in '87. The guy is a truly great British actor.

"Jacques LaFleur is a typical French asshole." Um... do you know any Frenchmen personally? Or are you taking your cues from a stereotype? I live in France. They are very polite civilized people taken on the whole. There are a**holes anywhere but, by far I've encountered way more of them in the good ol US of A than in France, thank you very much!! The character is funny, but he does not personify the REAL French. Plus, isn't the character supposed to be from Quebec? Just sayin'.
