Basically a generator has only one moving parts, That is either its armature or field coils is rotating. While this novel generator has both its armature & field coils are in movement.
They rotate freely in the opposite direction, just like two approaching vehicles when passing by each other, the speed in between them is equal to the sum of the two individual speed.
Apparently the two independent rotating blades when in function might look slow, however, the cutting speed of the inner magnetic flux between the two counter rotating components is fairly high. (within certain limit higher speed induces higher EMF.)
The generator output voltage is obviously improved compare to the current generator.
An ideal wind generator is constructed without make use of any gears assembly, to increase its R.P.M. as higher ratio output requires higher torque input, thus stronger wind is needed to propel the speed increased unit. And unfortunately places of strong wind condition is not as common. Lacking of the sufficient windy spot to site the windmill is the major mean of why such an environment friendly energy is still uncommon.
This practical new concept with the features of low wind speed and leniency of site locating requirement is just good to solve the above mentioned problem. It converts those unsuitable site become qualify and make perfection still more perfect to those excellent sites.
This arrangement of two components being driven by two independent rotor blades directly is getting twice the result with only half the effort input is equally good in constructing of a dual turbines hydroelectric power generator, especially when the water drop is lower.
In short future, this gaining advantage from both sides greener product going to be one of the common sight to the world.
is the first blade connected to the rotor, and the other blade connected to the stator?
or just one blade turns the generator? its difficult to see it on this video.

You can find more about this by googling 'counter rotating wind turbine'.
By the ways good idea.

Like the concept.

Good idea. Very logical. I hope you continue to develop this idea and make improvements.
Maybe you can try it on a larger scale.
Good luck.
