We're not the Welcome Wagon. It is intended to be an unpleasant experience for those coming and seeking to unlawfully obtain work or illegally hiring illegal aliens. I used to have the same thoughts as you, but SOS and NMI serve functions. And part of that is to treat perpetrators of illegal immigr. and unlawful employment practices w/ the disdain they deserve.

If the law being on our side was enough, these protests would not be necessary because there's no question what is going on is illegal. Those day labor sites serve one function and the authorities know it: To secure employment for persons who have no business being in the U.S.

The jobs people should be worried about, is the thousands of jobs gone to India. And, the people who are given visas, to come work in computer jobs, because Americans don't have the math and engineering skills to fill the skilled jobs. You are worried about someone who will fix a roof, for few hours, getting paid below minimum wage, and send few bucks home. Go protest AT&T, IBM, Go Mobile,HP, Cox Communications, General Electric, Toyota, Honda, Together they send billions.
