Released in early 2008, the Gerber Artifact is an 8 function mini tool that is barely larger than a cigarette lighter. It has a phillips screwdriver, a lanyard, bottle opener, pry bar, wire stripper, 2 flathead screwdrivers, and a knife that uses standard #11 replacement blades. What's so cool about the Gerber artifact is that you have the functionality of a multi-tool and a razor sharp knife in a small package that weighs about as much as a couple of quarters.

No problems with the blade on mine, it's a two handed job to open it or to replace it. Good solid wee tool.

the blade on this thing is real dangerously apt to slide out, i'd tighten the screw to the point where you need your key or a coin to pry it out

...or remove it altogether, but then you're left with a longer Shard
