i just modded my ps2 slim, and its spinning when the lock/lid is open, but it doesnt work to disc swap.. i dont know if its the disc fault, coz im using DVD-R.. im swaping when the playstation logo shows up on the tv but then the cd just slows down, whats the problem ?

ps2 games you switch at any time after the logo but it has to be that same game so basically only back ups for ps2 unless you use magic swap or cogswap

so here is a question.
I have the original game of Mortal Kombat shaolin monks for the PS2.
Now if I have another backup of another game, after swapping the Mortal Kombat disk for the backup disk, will it play the back up disk??
Or, will I need the original game and then swap it for its backup.
I know this is a dumb question. But I really need your help.

ok for ps1 games all youy need is 1 original ps1 game then you can swap it with and copy of a ps1 game... now a ps2 game is diffrent you have an original ps2 game you can only swap it with the copy of that game and not any other.. but if you load up a exploit and use cogswap you can play any othe copies of ps2 games... hope this helped

Hey dude. When I do all of this, the disc wont spin. Ive tried everything. Also, Ive already modded my PS2. I have a slim one. Ive had someone hold the trigger back, and cardboard on the bottom right hand thing. Why wont it spin?
