A self taught painter / illustrator / graphic designer, Taka was born in Yokohama, Japan in 1971. He moved to the U.S. in 1981 and relocated himself in Santa Monica where the early 80's Skateboarding scene had a huge impact on his life & art. He began drawing at a very early age and spent most of it either skating or experimenting with art.
