Ha wow omg! Yes whenever I tell anyone they look at me confused, people didn't even know I had it because it doesn't cause a lot of distorted facial structure, but oh man yes 3 times having braces isn't it a blast? I found out I had an open bite after I has braces 2 times I Thot there was no such thing and that I was just genetically wronged haha and the guy was saying how I had a mouth like a k9 and I was pretty much crying lol, then 6 years later gt braces in like June ish too and had my surg

Yep I didn't know I had one either. I just went to the orthodontist one day when i was 16 for a retainer check and he was like ummm you have an open bite. had no clue what one was until then! and yes people think i am crazy for getting this surgery because no one ever noticed anything was wrong with my teeth.

i have (well i guess had now!) an open bite too, got braces in june 2011 and had surgery in 2011. my bite looked almost exactly like yours only a little worse. i was so excited to find someone with an openbite because noone ever understands what one is when i tell them! anyway hope you feel better. : ) i'm one week behind you and know how you feel!
