  • Thanks! Good to have the light at full brightness when you need it.

  • Its great--but you pay for it in amp draw. Nothing is easy. I figure that I'll just use a bigger solar panel. The light has to be enough to really use.

  • NiceOne Lid i started to worry you had gone too quiet now i see Y

  • I have been studying and building pieces of the puzzle--- one at a time.

  • Very Nice Lidmotor

Thank you for posting this 5/5

  • Thanks. I learned alot more about induction with this build. The coil has three wires on it and they all interact. I had to play around with cap values and resistors before it worked right.

  • What is the specs of the energy coming out into the CFL/Battery?

  • What is the night light in the schematics? Is it the one labeled "Tail light Bulb"?

  • I just finished my inverter circuit, and I was wandering through your videos and VOILA, you answered my next question. My transformer turned out pretty good. One thing I don't like is I am getting "black ends" on my bulbs. Plasma I guess. Definitely a good learning experience. Will look over your changes and mods now that I have mine built. Thanks Lid.

  • painfully boreing show the light already.

  • By "radiant energy charger" you mean "buck converter".

  • Thanks for the post!

  • hello Lidmotor, what is the value of the diode?

  • What type of CFL bulb did you use? Is it functioning well like the CFL bulbs commercially available or busted CFL bulb? thanks! God bless!

  • most Cfl's say right on it "not for use with dimmers"

  • PRETTY COOL
