51st Eight was one of the sole inspirations for pursuing my musicianship as a trumpet player. Saw them at Old Sac Jazz fest when i was in middle school, instantly fell in love with the trumpet player (not literally (....ok maybe a little)) bought their cd, and now consider it as a one of a kind treasure. Just sitting at work when the thought came to me to youtube them. Glad i got to see them again, thank you.

Man, I really wanted to hear you guys at the festival today! I was there in the CSSS band and choir, and everyone said you guys were amazing, so I knew I just had to check you out. But I had to leave right after I was done D: It was lame.
