On the Eve of Thanksgiving, Mr. X Parte tells Harold that the MPAA has made a lengthy FCC filing on their waiver request for Selectable Output Control. Clearly, Harold has touched a nerve because Hollywood calls him a liar. Harold addresses the substance of MPAA's filing and explains why it, despite being 37 pages, still doesn't make a showing of the required evidence needed for the requested waiver.
lol... this report contradicts itself... "Nobody releases movies early on VOD... but movies are released early and we don't know where they come from." Smooth, MPAA. Real smooth.

Very interesting!!! I have seen bootleg copies from theater control rooms, video recordings from the theater floor and other low quality sources. So the plan is to what? legislate morality?? Or perhaps to forcibly impose integrity and charge for the experience? Either way it shows a complete disregard for the consumer and exposes their own lack of integrity. I reckon PAYOFFS at the FCC is much cheaper than paying Congress.
