  • i hunt a lot of goats with crossbows. cocking the hard way is better for the reason that you feel like it was the goats fault that your hand hurts. all the more reason to kill one of them then desecrate their corpses by eating them, yum yum yum

  • LOL, well the chinese have cocking down packed, with a simple crank O.o

  • @MadmanDKDK it seems that the attachment uses leverage to make it ez. kind of like the pully system, you can use half the strength you normally would need to lift something by using pullys. this is essentually the same.

  • @MadmanDKDK pull with your back, maybe i do have good posture, i doubted myself, but if people are pulling bow strings with their back maybe i rate

  • Put some decent gloves on, lock the elbows straight, and pull with your back ?

I'm just asking, what is the difference from the video and what I just mentioned ?

  • @marya4u2006 A crossbow due to the shorter limbs has about half the power of a compound or recurve bow.If a compound or recurve(different types of bow BTW) crossbow is rated at 150 lbs of draw weight, the equivilent recure or compound bow weight would be 75 pounds of draw weight. There's more to it but I hope this sheds a little light on your question.

  • Does anyone know which crossbow model is being used in that video?

  • Why cant I find any of these cocking ropes in the UK. Would give my fingers a break on my 175lb crossbow. Can anyone help?

  • Crossbow. But bows are faster to reload.

  • actually a goo crossbow will penitrate 5 in. and a compound will only penatrate 2in. but there both awsome to shoot

  • compound are more powerfull

  • Both will do a lot of 'damage' in the hands of a crack shot or a congenital idiot. You have to decide which one you are.

However, if you just want to shoot arrows Indian style, go for a compound bow. But if you are more familiar with rifles, go for a crossbow.

    Either way, you'll have fun!
